Do I have to be a Slate client to earn referral commissions?

How does Stripe work for payouts?
After you sign up, we connect you to Stripe (takes 2 minutes). Payouts go directly to your bank account on the 1st of every month. No checks, no PayPal, no delays. Stripe is the same system used by Amazon, Shopify, and Lyft.
What if someone I referred cancels?
Commission stops for that referral. If they come back, it restarts. Most clients stay because the system works: 85% annual retention. That means a referral you make today will likely earn you $97/mo for years.
When do I get my first payment?
Payouts start 30 days after your referral's first payment. So if they sign up on March 10, their first payment processes, and your first $97 lands in your bank around April 10. After that, it's automatic every month.
Is there a cap on how much I can earn?
No cap. 1 referral or 100. $97/month per active referral. Some of our most active partners are on track for $2,000+/month within their first year.
